Inviting your team
Perceive8 organizes everything into workspaces, and workspaces are shared — your team's analyses, reports, playbooks, and integrations all live there. A workspace is created automatically when you sign up; invite your team to collaborate in it.
Roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control: billing, members, integrations, and all workspace settings. The person who created the workspace. |
| Admin | Manage workspace settings and members; access all data. |
| Manager | Access and manage all workspace data (analyses, reports, playbooks) without workspace settings. |
| User | View and manage only their own data. |
The Members page is visible to owners and admins.
Invite a member
- Go to Audio → Settings → Members.
- Click Invite member.
- Enter the email address and choose a role.
- Optionally, link the invite to an employee from your business profile — this keeps your people directory and workspace membership in sync.
- Send the invite.
The invitee receives an email with a link. If they don't have a Perceive8 account yet, they're prompted to create one, and they land in your workspace afterwards.
Invites expire after 7 days. If someone misses the window, just resend.
Managing pending invites
Pending invites appear in the members table until accepted. For each one you can:
- Resend — send a fresh email (also extends the expiry)
- Revoke — cancel the invite; the link stops working immediately
Changing roles and removing members
Admins can edit a member's role (not their own) and add a job title or description to keep the directory useful. Owners and admins can remove a member entirely — the person loses access to the workspace, but the analyses they created stay in the workspace.
Growing past one workspace
As your team grows you might want separate workspaces per function (sales, support, marketing) — automatic account setup creates these from your business profile and sends the matching invites in one pass.
