Business profile & automatic setup

Fill in your business profile once, and let Perceive8 set up workspaces, boards, agents, and team invites automatically.

Business profile & automatic setup

The business profile is where you teach Perceive8 about your company — what you sell, who you compete with, who works with you. It powers better answers from Aria, sharper playbook scoring, and a one-click automatic account setup that provisions your whole workspace structure for you.

Filling in your profile

Go to Audio → Insights → Business Profile. The profile is organized in tabs:

  • Context — company name, website, industry, company size, country, sales motion, description, value proposition, and tone of voice. Use the enrich button next to your website URL to pre-fill much of this automatically.
  • Employees — the people on your team: name, title, department, email, and their role in deals.
  • Products — what you sell.
  • Competitors — who you compete against (these feed competitor-mention detection in conversations).
  • Agents, Playbooks, Integrations, Invites — an overview of what exists in your account.

You don't need to fill in everything — but the more complete the Context and Employees tabs are, the better automatic setup works.

Automatic account setup

Once the profile has the basics, click Set up my account automatically on the business profile page (or open the Aria wizard at Audio → Business Setup and ask for a setup proposal).

Setup runs in two steps:

  1. Plan — Perceive8 proposes a complete account structure and shows you a preview before anything is created: workspaces, boards, agents, starter tasks, and team invites, plus how your profile employees match existing members.
  2. Apply — after you approve, Perceive8 creates everything.

What gets created

  • Workspaces for your business functions — main, sales, support, marketing — named after your actual business (e.g. "Acme Sales")
  • Boards with starter tasks in each workspace
  • AI agents for each function, each with its own live runtime — the first mission starts automatically
  • Starter files — a website summary, a competitor analysis, and a pitch deck draft
  • Playbook scoring wired to your workspaces
  • Invites emailed to the employees in your profile who have email addresses

Safety guarantees

Automatic setup is designed to be safe to run — and re-run:

  • It never deletes anything.
  • Re-running is idempotent: existing items are matched and reused, not duplicated.
  • It only renames an item when the new name is very close to the old one.
  • Invites go only to emails listed in your own business profile — never to existing members, never to addresses that already have a pending invite (those get linked instead), and never to external addresses.

There's also a reset profile data option if you want to clear the profile itself and start over — your workspaces, boards, agents, and sent invites are kept.

The Aria wizard

Prefer conversation over forms? Open Audio → Business Setup and talk to Aria:

  • Answer questions about your business in chat
  • Attach documents (PDF, DOCX, PPTX, TXT, Markdown, HTML) — a pitch deck or one-pager gives Aria most of what it needs
  • Approve the proposed setup plan inline when it's ready

The wizard and the settings page drive the same underlying setup — use whichever suits you.
