Understanding your analysis

A tour of the analysis page: transcript, scorecard, topics, emotion insights, alerts, reports, and asking Aria.

Understanding your analysis

Every conversation Perceive8 captures — a live meeting or an uploaded recording — produces an analysis. This page walks you through what you're looking at, so you can find the insight you came for in seconds.

The analyses list

Open Audio → Analyses to see every conversation in your workspace. Each row shows:

  • Name (click to rename inline) with the source platform and a Stream badge for live captures
  • Language of the conversation
  • Score out of 100, when a playbook was active
  • Status — Queued, Processing, Streaming, Ready, or Failed
  • Star — mark important analyses, then use the starred filter to see only those

While anything is processing, the list refreshes automatically every few seconds — no need to reload.

The analysis page

Click any analysis to open it. The page is organized in three areas:

Center: audio and transcript

  • An audio player with a waveform — play, pause, and skip ±10 seconds
  • Key moments / chapters that jump the player to the important parts
  • The full transcript with speaker labels and timestamps — click any line to jump the audio to that moment

Left: overview

Conversation metadata (date, duration, source, language) and the headline score when a playbook was active.

Right: insight panels

A vertical tab strip opens the panels where the real value lives:

Panel What's inside
Scorecard Overall score, sub-scores (talk ratio, alert load), issues overview, and an executive summary
Actions Issues found and recommended next steps from the report
Topics Topics discussed and entities mentioned (people, companies, products)
Intelligence Emotion heatmap, sentiment arc over time, and speaker diarization timeline
Playbooks Generate and view Aria reports for this conversation
Speakers Speaker breakdown and management
Aria Summary and risks at a glance, plus a chat panel — ask anything about the conversation
Alerts Alerts raised during a live stream, with a count badge

Getting answers fast

Three patterns cover most of what people do with an analysis:

  1. "What happened?" — read the executive summary in the Scorecard panel, or the Summary tab in the Aria panel.
  2. "Where did they say X?" — scan the transcript or chapters, click the line, and listen to the exact moment.
  3. "What should we do next?" — open the Actions panel for recommended next steps, or generate a full report from the Playbooks panel to share with your team.

You can also just ask. The Aria panel's chat answers questions like "what were the customer's objections?" or "draft a follow-up email" with the conversation as context.

Sharing and exporting

Use the export actions to download the transcript or the full analysis for sharing outside Perceive8. For CRM-driven workflows, connect HubSpot or another integration to sync outcomes automatically.

If something looks wrong

  • Stuck on Processing — long recordings take longer; if it's been over 15 minutes for a short file, contact support.
  • Failed status — the file may be corrupt or in an unsupported format; see supported formats and try again.
  • Missing score — no playbook was active for this conversation. Activate one under Audio → Playbooks and it applies to the next capture. See Scoring with playbooks.
